Gerard Campbell, from Merseyside, is a creative designer and illustrator with over 25 years professional experience. Ged currently works as a creative designer, visualiser and illustrator and has worked creatively for a portfolio of businesses including attractions, food and beverage manufacturers, IP brands and government accounts in addition to his individual projects such as greetings cards and gift illustrations.
Growing up in Knowsley, near Liverpool Ged always knew he wanted to be in the creative industry being inspired by children’s books, television and other media.
Nowadays his work is mostly on digital platform, but the ideas still always start from paper sketches and in his spare time he relaxes by putting his illustrative skills to good use creating paintings, drawings and sculptures of the natural world.
During 2020 Ged has created a wonderful range of bespoke gifts for WWT fondly known as ‘Heads and Tails’ (you’ll know why when you see them!) and four of our five ranges of bespoke Christmas cards and canvases
