The new compact SWAROVSKI OPTIK CL Pocket binoculars: small outside – big inside

These green Swarovski 8x25 Pocket Binoculars are perfect for taking out on a days hike, cycling or a safari holiday where size and weight are crucial. Extremely compact, they are manufactured to Swarovski's usual high standard the CL 8x25 binoculars have stunning optics borrowed from the much larger binoculars within the Swarovski range. The 25mm objective lens is small which gives the binoculars their compactness and as such you would think that the quality would be compromised, but Swarovski have completed extensive tests on optics, to ensure that the glass in the binoculars transmits enough light to give excellent detail.

Compact and lightweight

Weighing in at just 345g and measuring a mere 110 x 98mm you would think that they wouldn't really be worth the bother, but believe us when we say that once you have used these binoculars, you will never want to let them go. They still have all three of the Swarovski multi coatings, Swarobright, Swarodur and Swarotop, which coat the inside and outside of the optics as well as the prisms inside, ensuring that as much of the available light as possible gets through to the eye. This means that the colour rendition and the details that can be seen through these binoculars is as clear as it can be. It also means that the external optics are easy to clean and dust and dirt resistant, making them perfect for everyday use and worry free when it comes to our terrible weather.

Comfortable to Use

Great to use for any length of time due to the lightweight nature of the CL binoculars, there is no problem with arm strain, or eye strain, especially as the eyecups twist up and down to accommodate spectacle and non-spectacle wearers. At 8x magnification, they have a fabulous field of view, which helps to locate fast moving subjects a long way away and to fix on them for longer periods. The eyecups have a rubber surround which makes them really comfortable to use and ensures that the optics are not scratched by using them when wearing glasses.

Watertight

The CL 8x25 binoculars are nitrogen filled and are watertight down to 13ft/4m so there is no worry when using them out in a torrential downpour and no worries about internal fogging. They really have been designed to use regularly and we mean that with a capital U. Shove them in your pocket, or strap them to a belt and enjoy. Swarovski have given the CL range of binoculars a 10 year warranty, as they are confident about the high standard of manufacture in their products.
